It was a sunny summer day. A group of people, who consider themselves from upper class, were taking bath in river. A boy from lower class was watching them through the woods. He also wanted to take bath, but he was not allowed to do so. Because upper class believed, the river would get polluted if any untouchable takes bath in river. “Amritlal”, a guest in the village came down to the river to take bath. He accidently looked at the boy but with great affection; the boy was very beautiful and adorable. His clothes were tattered and dirty. He took the boy in his arm and washed him and gave him bath.
Then what? This incident was spread in the village like fire in a jungle. Few men gathered front of the house where Amritlal was staying, they were shouting and cursing Amritlal. Someone from group shouted “you have committed a sin and bring disgrace to our class”. Their faces were burning red. But Amritlal was very calm and cool he answered with patience, “Brother! By depriving this boy from bath you were committing a sin the god has created all of us with same love and care. Each human being is unique & equal and everybody is free to enjoy the gifts of nature. You have not created this river, it is created by nature so you have not sole right over it, I have tried only to lessen your sin by giving bath this poor child”. After listening those words people were speechless and ashamed.
This is a very old story almost 500 yrs old or may be more but India had been suffering from this mental block “untouchability” for many years. Passages from scriptures such as Manusmriti indicate that the Varna system was originally non-hereditary. Not only India, even World suffered a lot when Hitler’s whimsical Nazi race wanted to rule the world. The upper, lower and different classes are only product of mind. And what good it brings, when whole humanity is suffering?
A Fool's Notion.

A thosand desire.
There is a Urdu poetry written by Ghalib few lines written on desire,
hazaaroN KHwahishaiN 'eisee ke har KHwahish pe dam nikle
bohot nikle mere armaaN lekin fir bhee kam nikle
There are thousand desires, which take a life time to realise. Many of them are fulfilled, but alas so few are fulfilled.
These lines are so true that we cannot stop desiring. And each unfulfilled desire left a dismal remembrance. It is very unusual if one has fulfilled all their desires in a life time. When ones desire gets fulfilled many new arise and it keeps increasing and get stuck in a never ending cycle. No one can say “I am free from desire” even a holy (realized person) one has a desire for company of GOD. But yes, a enlightened has one desire and an ordinary like you and me have thousand.
There is nothing wrong in desiring, but one must not attached to desire, because we cannot anticipate weather it is going to fulfil or not. Many would argue ,no anything which is conceivable, is achievable, true, but not always. Because as per a saying “One cannot get before the right time and more than ones fate.”I am not propounding the theory of fatalist; we should continue our struggle for the fulfilment of the desire. But if we fail to achieve our goal then we must try harder than before.
But we must intellectually classify which are the feasible, practical and right desire and should always choose morally governed course to fulfil it. There are so many desires which are eating out our world day by day. Few countries want to become superpower by accumulating life threatening weapons and few wants to remain rich by adopting wrong business practices.
In my opinion a desire which is blessed for you and your surrounding must be prayed from god and I believe it will be fulfilled in this life time or in this very next second.

Don’t Harbour Hate in Heart
Human beings are loaded with different kind of emotions. Few are so called negative, few are positive. Emotions which create certain situation such as tension, pain, panic, confusion etc are surely entitled for negative ones and producer of love, friendliness, peace etc are positive ones.
I want to talk about hate. One of the predominant denominators which is shaping 21st century. Hate becomes bread and butter for few people, especially in India, politician win their seats over fiery speeches and spewing out venom on their chosen victims. India has been facing bloodshed for many years it was previously communal riots, now it has become sectorial riots. Communal was based on religion-Hindu &Muslim riots, Hindu& Sikh riots and sectorial is based on land-Hate for non-Marathi’s in Mumbai, and prevailing prejudices in North east India.
Each incident is outcome of hate. People fight over religion-“My God and scriptures stronger than yours”;”whatever written in your religion is farce what is written in my book is pure and true”; I wonder sometimes people kill each other on these petty issues. They do not understand the value of human life. Whatever religion one follows, whatever cast one belongs, should not forget that being a human being is a greatest gift. We allow the seed of hate to sow in our heart; our heart is very fertile whatever we sow it grows in abundance, so as hate. After sowing it we nurture it with our prejudices and preoccupied beliefs and without a hint it makes our heart barren. The positive emotion keeps our heart fertile where negative one sucks all energy and left heart lifeless.
Our true nature is love, we born with this emotion. The way baby cling to his/her mother is a sign of love, cry for motherly touch is a sign of love then from where we have developed this hate. We took hate unknowingly in this world. The companions of hate are ego, selfishness. Then how do we eradicate it completely from our heart? Only by inviting Love. We cannot expel hate , ego ,selfishness in a overnight from our heart. Just ignore them as a unwanted guest and attain only love when these emotion do not get your guest hood they will walk silently out from your heart. Suppressing any emotion is not the right idea mindfully channelize it ,is the better way to handle it.
I would finish with words of Nixon:” Always remember others may hate you but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself.”

City Out of the World.
Dear Friends, Hello I am Sudeep. Today is 3rd November, my birthday. So I thought why not doing something different on my birthday? So I decided it would be great to make new friends on this day. I have started my new blog today; it was my old desire to write about my city.
My city is Varanasi. The land of miracles, the land of salvation. From time immemorial this city is witnessed of great spiritual unfoldments. Almost from every part of the world ,tourists come in masses to explore the wonder land.If you are new to this city then it will be little difficult to comprehend why I am using these heavy words(Miracles, Salvation, Wonders).
Although, Varanasi, city as a whole has changed very much. But something which has not changed with time and will never change is the beauty of Ganges. In Hindu scriptures it is written that this city is out of world and balanced on Lord Shiva’s trishul (A Three Edge Weapon). Scientifically I have no explanation how it is out of the world? But Hindus believe the Heaven’s gate is very near from hear and lord himself comes to give salvation. That is why you will find many old age homes are here. Many prefer to shed their bodies and free from the cycle of reincarnation in . Why it is out of the world this question has a very mystical answer. If you dig the history of this ancient city you will find many Yogis ,Sidhas and sages chosen it for their Lilas (Godly plays) for example Tulsidas, Kabir, Tailangya Swami, Sri Shyama Charan Lahiri, Swami Vishudhananda Paramhansa, Swami Pranabananda are just few names from list of thousands.
One of the greatest scripture Ram Charit Manas has its origin here. It is believed, Lord Shiva dwells in every grain of this land. If you have never visited, please come and experience . If you need any kind of information about this city please write to me I am always happy to answer your queries.
